Foray Dates

Full details of the dates and locations for our forays are supplied to group members via regular mailings.

Forays are run in the general 'Cotswolds' area which includes Gloucestershire to the East of the Severn and North Wiltshire. Members are free to attend as many or as few forays as they wish during the year.

PLEASE NOTE - These are provisional dates and may change. Full details are sent to members at the beginning of each season. To avoid disappointment, please check your detailed programme before making special arrangements to attend on a certain day.

Where AM & PM are shown, forays will be at different but nearby sites. If All Day is listed - both morning and afternoon foray are on the same site

Events shown in italics are likely to be staffed by CFG members, but are organised by others. 

Details of forays being organised for other organisations such as local Wildlife Trusts and Ranger Services, Arboretums, and the National Trust will appear in the detailed Autumn programme. Any bookings should be made with directly with these organisations.

Autumn 2011

Other county-based local fungus groups foray on other days (N. Somerset & Bristol, Gwent, Forest of Dean, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire). If you would like more details please visit our Useful Links page.

Further forays are being organised for other organisations – mainly Saturdays in the Autumn (Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, Batsford Arboretum, The National Trust, Forest Enterprise-Westonbirt, Swindon Ranger Service, etc).  Further details will appear in the members Autumn foray program, but please book direct with these organisations.
